Ongoing Planning Structure
Financial Planning Costs
Our flat, 12-month fee is based on the complexity of your situation and starts at $5,500 for individuals and $7,000 for couples with the option to pay monthly ($458/$583) or quarterly ($1,375/$1,750). During our initial call, we will present a price proposal that fits your household.
The fee is reviewed every 12 months and is adjusted if your financial situation has changed. We don’t like surprises and will review this with you in advance.
Investment Management
Providing an investment strategy aligned with your ideal life is part of the financial planning fee. If you want FirstGen Wealth to manage your investments, we use a third-party custodian and the first $400,000 of investment management is included in the fee. After that, the fee is 0.25%. This means, for every $10,000, the annual cost is $25. We do not have account minimums.
Want to implement the investment strategy we provide to you?
No problem. We do not require you move your accounts to us.
There will also be times when it doesn’t make sense for us to manage your account.
For example, if we determine a backdoor Roth strategy makes sense for you, we’ll recommend you leave your old employer 401k in a work retirement plan.
We intentionally keep the fee low to be compensated for our time, but it does not drive recommendations.
